Position Overview
Prestigious law firm in Denver is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant specializing in estate planning, probate, and trust administration. The successful candidate will provide vital administrative support to a team of attorneys, ensuring efficient operations and client satisfaction. This full-time, on-site role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic legal environment, contributing to meaningful estate planning services.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to multiple partners and associate attorneys including legal document preparation, e-filing, and calendaring.
- Communicate with clients and related parties in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all estate planning documents and transactions in the firm's document management system.
- Draft correspondence and legal documents related to estate planning.
- Review documents for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist team members on special projects or when additional help is needed.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Products, document management systems (iManage) and timekeeping software (InTapp).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Rigorous attention to detail and accuracy in preparing documents.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and organizational skills.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
Experience and Education
- At least 2-3 years of legal assistant experience, preferably in trusts and estates.
- An associate or bachelor's degree, legal studies, or a related field. Equivalent experience is also acceptable.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000-$78,000 depending on experience and a comprehensive benefits package, including:
